Novitec’s Latest Lamborghini Revuelto Build Channels a ’90s Music Video Icon

When you think of the ultimate 1990s supercar pop-culture moments, Jamiroquai’s 1996 music video for “Cosmic Girl” is undoubtedly near the top of the list. The video famously featured a stunning, special-edition purple Lamborghini Diablo SE 30 tearing through the mountains. Now, the renowned tuning gurus at Novitec have tapped into that exact wave of ’90s nostalgia for their latest take on the hybrid V12 Lamborghini Revuelto.

Bringing retro flair to a cutting-edge, 1,000-plus horsepower hybrid is no easy feat, but Novitec has managed to perfectly blend the iconic styling of the Diablo SE 30 with the aggressive, modern geometry of the Revuelto.

The “Cosmic Girl” Aesthetic

The standout feature of this new Novitec package is, of course, the visual homage to the music video (MV).

  • The Paint: The showcase model sports a vibrant purple finish that immediately evokes the legendary Diablo SE 30.
  • Exposed Carbon Fiber: Contrasting the retro paint is a gorgeous, exposed-fiber aerodynamic kit. Novitec notes that while the purple is the hero color for this package, the carbon elements can be color-matched to the customer’s exact specifications if desired.

Aerodynamics and Body Styling

Novitec didn’t just stop at a fresh coat of paint; they completely reworked the Revuelto’s aero profile to make it look even more muscular and expressive.

  • Front to Back: The kit includes a sharp new front splitter, custom headlight bezels, athletic side skirts, and a massive, bulky rear diffuser.
  • The Hood and Engine: A completely redesigned, elaborate hood gives the front end a more aggressive presence. In the back, a custom airbox sits atop the engine lid to improve cooling for the massive V12.
  • Downforce: While the factory rear wing remains stock, Novitec has added a subtle lip spoiler to generate extra downforce at high speeds.

Stance and Footwear

To complete the look, the car’s stance has been aggressively dialed in.

  • Lowered Suspension: The Revuelto now sits a full inch (25 mm) closer to the ground, giving it a menacing, track-ready posture.
  • Vossen Wheels: Tucked into the wheel arches are custom Vossen wheels—staggered with 21-inch rims in the front and 22-inch rims in the rear. Buyers can customize these extensively, with three different designs and up to 72 different finishes available.

Pushing Past 1,000 Horsepower

Novitec isn’t known for leaving the engine bay untouched, and this Revuelto is no exception.

  • Exhaust Options: A brand-new exhaust system is available. The base option is crafted from stainless steel, while the premium upgrade utilizes ultra-heat-resistant Inconel piping. The Inconel system even features 999-fine gold-plated finishers to ensure maximum heat dissipation.
  • Power Bump: The upgraded exhaust components alone free up an additional 33 horsepower. Combined with a few other minor tuning tweaks, the total output of the hybrid supercar is pushed to a staggering 1,034 horsepower (1,048 PS / 771 kW).

Novitec’s latest creation proves that while the Revuelto is a leap into Lamborghini’s electrified future, it still looks incredibly good wearing a piece of its legendary, V12 past.
